I was six years old and cranky. Mom was cranky too, probably because she was sober for once and had to drive in a terrible snowstorm to Max-Mart just for a six pack of beer, along with a pack of cigarettes. I myself was in a particularly bad mood due to the fact that I had to accompany her, given it would have been a bad idea to leave a small child in an apartment all alone. If you would have asked my little self what I thought of this situation, I would have told you that I would have rather been in the apartment with the power out and the snow piling up outside, reading UFOs- Fact and Fiction with a flashlight while sipping some chocolate milk I found in the back of our dirty fridge in our old apartment. Back then, though, I didn't have much of a say in things, so my opinion on where I wanted to be didn't really matter. Mom wanted her beer, and she was going to get it.

The Clockers- something of a sneak peek? I sat in the leather chair, waiting for the perfect time to bolt out of the office.
"You see, Amanda, Zap, your kidnapping is much more than a mentally disturbed man taking a girl and a guy in their sleep," the middle-aged, suited, plump man says before me. He is across from us, sitting behind his very fancy and intricate desk, looking at us with grey eyes. As he sits back into his chair, he says, "And you-" he looks to Kelvin, "you make the situation even more complicated."
It's been about two hours now. Or maybe three minutes. It's been a length of time that we have successfully escaped that odd... place underground, under the city, between the subways and the sewers, that corporation or agency that tried taking me. Escaping by time machine- it's insane, I'm gripping onto my chair, trying to figure out how I exactly got from my apartment to that place, escaping with Zap and Kelvin somehow by that odd vehicle, and landing... finding myself

Yes I got it done before Christmas and I did it _{sorta not really} well!

Anyway,

was the person I was supposed to secret-santa, and they asked for characters (didn't specify who) decorating a Christmas tree. I wasn't sure if you meant mine or your own, Myself, but here you go. The Clockers, the original time--traveling trio, decorating a Christmas tree. Well, Amanda is holding cookies, but that works. Kelvin is about to fall on Zap hahaa...

Sorry about the lameness of this. It's not colored, it's more of a sketch... I'm sorry, Myself. I really tried. Digital Art is just so hard for me. Although I am particularily proud of Amanda's boots. (Yes, they are pirate boots, long story.)
It's a good monochrome piece, I guess.
